This law says who can and who cannot be a part of this process. The law wants to make sure that surrogacy is done in a way that’s fair and safe for everyone. It only allows couples from India who cannot have a baby to try surrogacy. The law also protects the woman who carries the baby by making sure she is not taken advantage of and that she gets the care and legal help she needs.
