ASE61850 Relay Test Set is a set of software tools developed by ASE Systems for testing electrical relays in substations. It’s not just a single testing tool, but a comprehensive suite meant to handle various aspects of relay testing, troubleshooting, and compliance with the IEC 61850 standard. It includes three main tools:

ASE61850 Test Set: Acts as both client and server, simulating real-world communication for testing relays.

ASE61850 IED Smart: Simulates Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs) used in substations, allowing for more complex testing scenarios.

ASE61850 SCL Manager: Manages Station Configuration Language (SCL) files, which define the configuration of a substation.
